Key Requirements
- Preferably experience in a production environment, ideally in metal fabrication, surface finishing or machine shop roles.
- Happy to tackle repetitive tasks, while at the same time having a high level of attention to detail to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
- Hands-on person with proficient use of hand tools and power tools – and a good mechanical aptitude.
- Physically fit and energetic, with the ability to keep up a high work rate in our busy production environment.
- Conscious about Health and Safety for yourself and your colleagues.
- Dedicated to continuous improvement, willing to listen and learn to improve yourself as well as contributing new ideas to process improvements.
- You will have a clean valid NZ Drivers Licence.
- You must meet the requirements for working on specific projects for USA Government departments and passport verification will be required in line with US Export Control requirements.
- You must be currently based in Auckland, New Zealand, as this is an onsite role.
It will be beneficial if you have experience in the following:
- Preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment and machines, including scheduling and management of spare parts inventory.
- Compliance with Quality Standards and certifications.
- Industrial 3D printing.
- Blasting, grinding, fettling, or other metal finishing work.
- 3D Scanning and inspecting.
- Production process troubleshooting.
- Accurate documentation and reporting.
