We are solving an important problem. The Pure Food Co is an innovative and rapidly growing food tech company servicing aged care and healthcare markets across NZ, Australia, and Europe. We have developed a turnkey nutrition system, complete with breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, dessert, and smoothie product lines that support healthier aging and help people get more from life. And it works.
In a large and rapidly growing market. Our products address a global population of 60+ year olds that is expected to double by 2050 to 2.1 billion people, with the population of those aged 80+ expected to triple over the same period. The industry will radically change over the next few decades, and we will be leading the charge.
About The Role
This will be a global role, reporting to the Head of Procurement & Business Intelligence and working with our teams in NZ, AU, and France to improve the way we capture, analyse, and generate value from our internal and external data, improve how we use our systems, and improve business processes. You will be working on projects such as:
- Leveraging health and nutrition data to improve health outcomes for residents within agedcare and healthcare.
- Building and improving data visualisation tools that provide valuable insights for our global sales teams.
- Working on various projects within production, logistics and distribution to optimise processes and drive efficiencies.
- Improving the ways we capture, analyse and report on data across the business (cleaner data, better visualisations, rapidly available insights).

Location
This role will be based out of our Auckland offices on Savill Drive, Otahuhu (where our greenfield manufacturing facility is too) and will support the global Pure Food Co team. Given the dynamic stage and growth trajectory of the company, we typically find that in-person collaboration is most effective. Most of our NZ team work from the office, with the flexibility to work remotely when required.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an innovative, creative, and flexible individual with a growth mindset and a positive attitude. Someone with 0-5 years of experience who is:
- Able to think critically and problem solve in a dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy. (must have)
- Comfortable working with data and using it to tell stories (must have)
- Effective at verbal and written communication (must have)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (must have)
- Able to create dashboards and visualisation in Power BI (nice to have)
- Some experience working with data, business improvement or ERP systems (nice to have)
- A tertiary qualification in data science, software, engineering, business, health science or related field (nice to have)
