About the role

We are searching for a skilled Project Manager to join the McKay team based in Penrose Auckland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make their mark within a business that is values-driven, with great company culture.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive electrical experience and either be a registered electrician with contracts management experience or an Electrical Engineer with a background in managing projects. You must be a professional, self-motivated, and confident individual with the ability to build and maintain a strong rapport with key stakeholders.

In addition, the following qualifications, skills, and attributes are desirable to enable the candidate to be successful in this role:

  • Applicable Project Management Diploma or Electrical Engineering Degree
  • 8+ years of work experience
  • Well-developed computer literacy skills, specifically with Microsoft and Project Management tools
  • Solid leadership and open communication skills
  • Highly developed project management & coaching skills
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Flexibility to manage multiple demands, priorities issues, and risks
  • Ability to analyse complex technical information and provide advice
