The role
Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a permanent full-time Financial Accountant to join our high-performing finance team based in our Auckland office. Your role will see you responsible for the timely management of all month end processes, preparation of all statutory compliance, cash flow forecasting, preparing financial statements and reporting.This is also an opportunity to develop your global experience across several offshore entities. You will also supervise and review the work of our Accounts Administrator, ensuring all AP and AR processing is accurate and on-time. You will have the opportunity to add value by looking at ways to reduce month end procedures and improve processes generally – it is therefore important you have a knack and an interest in systems and compliance. As the business continues to grow and your skills develop there is plenty of opportunity for the role to expand. You will be working with a variety of systems including Xero and Cin7.
About You
This role will suit a motivated, enthusiastic individual with initiative and a desire to take ownership of their role. There is plenty of opportunity here to learn about a growing global business and make a tangible impact on improving internal processes. The ideal candidate for this role is likely going to be part-way or close to finishing their CA (or similar) qualifications. You may have 2-3 years experience working in a busy finance team in a commercial business, or you may be looking to make your first move out of public practice. It goes without saying that you will have solid Excel skills and ideally some exposure to Xero. Prior experience across CPG/Manufacturing/Ecom industries is beneficial.
