The Customer Service Representative is responsible for promoting growth of Gallagher North America through daily interaction with customers via inbound calls, outbound calls, emails and any other means of communication. To proactively manage customer orders to ensure effective utilization of time and resources to achieve agreed customer service levels. French speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply!

Accountabilities:

  • Maintain updated and accurate contact records within the Gallagher (SAP) Customer Relationship Management software. This includes Keeping records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • Provide customer support services in an accurate and structured manner to make errors minimal.
  • Attend and be an active participant in team meetings.
  • Work alongside other functional areas of the organization and external partners to achieve smooth flows of both information and material.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and an aggressive, creative, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Support the goals and objectives of the Gallagher’s Senior Management Team.
  • Share knowledge and experience to help develop the team
  • Maintain a forward-thinking attitude to correct imbalances between demand and supply as far in advance as identified, and correct the process to prevent reoccurrence. Ensure all orders, receivers, credits /returns are entered by end of business day.

Qualifications and / or Experience (required):

  • Inside Sales, customer service or call center background

Qualifications and / or Experience (desirable):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Technology, or a related field.
  • French speaking desirable
  • Ambitious with winning attitude to inspire themselves and others.
  • Engages and actively listens to others with empathy and patience.
  • Maintains a positive and professional attitude while focusing on opportunities to move the team and business forward
  • A team player that will focus on bringing new ideas to the table and implement process improvements
