The Opportunity
Working closely with the Finance team based in New Zealand you will be one of our key finance people on the ground supporting our Animal Management team in Australia. You will use your financial expertise to interpret and apply regional business strategies, guiding our Leadership team’s strategic decision-making process. Reporting to the Global Finance Lead, you’ll be instrumental in nurturing relationships within our Animal Management business and being part of the Australian Animal Management leadership team. Your ability to provide pragmatic and pivotal financial insights and analysis will be essential in driving our strategy towards sustainable and profitable growth.
The Fit
You should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, and be CA, CPA, or CIMA qualified. You need to have significant experience in finance business partnering or commercial finance at a senior level, including leading business planning, managing performance, and evaluating business growth and investment opportunities.
You should be pragmatic with a strong commercial sense and a good understanding of strategic business drivers. You need to be able to turn complex information into clear insights that help guide business decisions. You must be comfortable presenting to and engaging with senior executives and have excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong data analysis and commercial modelling skills are essential. Building effective relationships to influence key business stakeholders and guiding decision-making with your interpersonal skills are crucial.
Experience with SAP software and working in large, fast-growing global businesses is a plus. You should also be able to lead and drive improvement projects and initiatives within the organization.
