As a senior marketer, this role creates and executes global marketing strategies for the eShepherd product streamto influence customer buyer behaviours and drive growth and revenue for the eShepherd.

The Marketing Manager for eShepherd is responsible for all aspects of the marketing strategy and execution by optimizing marketing initiatives that drive awareness, demand and adoption of eShepherd ultimately ensuring its success in the market contributing to the achievement of product goals.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for a deep understanding of eShepherd products, building key strategic relationships with the Research and Development, Sales and Commercialization teams, ensuring clear and effective communication of product insights, timelines, marketing strategies, and successful product outcomes.

You will also develop deep relationships with key media in each of the regions to help build awareness in the market.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Work with relevant members of the sales and commercialization teams and other stakeholders to deeply understand our customers, target customer segments and the unique value our solutions provide across all our global sales regions.
  • Be connected and contribute at early stages of solution development, leading the creative brief process.
  • Support eShepherd in market research, customer insight gathering and analysis
  • Have a good understanding of market opportunities, our competitive advantage and the competitive landscape
  • Stay closely connected and abreast of competitors and their market activity and provide insights back to eShepherd team
  • Manage the eShepherd marketing lead funnel, ensuring relevant marketing leads are captured, qualified and distributed appropriately to the regional BDM within the sales team.
  • Utilize content and insights from the eShepherd team to build a MRP document with a clear go-to-market plan
  • Collaborate with eShepherd leadership to develop key market messaging throughout the product development life cycle
  • Champion the customer, working with the eShepherd leadership to review and refine the MRP document to ensure it is customer value proposition centric
  • Carry out customer insight work to refine key messaging for each market
  • Create & execute Marketing Strategies for eShepherd new products & solutions leveraging market and industry trends for insights and growth opportunities.
  • Educate the market and create demand for Gallagher’s eShepherd virtual fencing solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive eShepherd marketing plans tailored to the specific needs of each region and its target customer segments and clearly outlines how the marketing strategy aims to achieve the strategic goals, including:
  • customer, key account & partnership marketing activities.
  • promotions, events, product launches, brand and online/offline channels.
  • Digital strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals and brand identity.
  • Coordinate creative development, briefing the creative & design team and managing marketing asset creation through to completion.
  • Communicate the customer value proposition of solutions and segments
  • Partner with the Centre of Excellence (CoE) team in helping to deliver functional, cost effective, and environmentally responsible marketing and packaging solutions
  • Work with GM Strategy and New Ventures to set marketing budgets for campaigns based on eShepherd financials
  • Align marketing assets to brand & design guidelines
  • Oversee the coordination of marketing and product campaigns across all regions, ensuring that all activities are executed in alignment with our eShepherd Marketing strategy.
  • This involves liaising with various teams to plan and implement campaigns effectively, keeping a close eye on timelines and deliverables.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics to identify strengths and areas for improvement, utilizing data-driven insights to refine strategies and tactics.
  • Through ongoing monitoring and evaluation, optimize campaigns to maximize reach, engagement, and return on investment, constantly striving for better results.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling offers and materials that align with overall marketing and campaign objectives.
  • Manage content across various marketing technology platforms, including website, CRM, and marketing automation tools, ensuring regional content is available and up to date to support efficient operation and optimization of marketing activities.
  • Drive and execute activities with co-promotional partners, leveraging mutually beneficial relationships to enhance marketing initiatives and broaden our reach.
  • Identify sponsorship opportunities and collaborate with partners to maximize the impact of marketing activities, ensuring alignment with Animal Management objectives and brand values.

Qualifications and / or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in a client-side Marketing Manager or agency-side Account Manager role in global company (or similar)
  • Experience in start-up generalist marketing role advantageous

  • Strategic thinker with good experience building marketing strategies and plans
  • The ability to lead through influence and across international boundaries
  • Strong understanding of creating & delivering marketing communications
  • Strong grasp on how to use marketing to build brand loyalty& drive sales
  • Able to develop strong relationships with internal and external service providers
  • A creative person able to brainstorm ideas & creative solutions to marketing challenges
  • Sound administrative approach with a high degree of planning & project delivery skill
  • Good understanding of working within & managing brand guidelines
  • Experience of working in a deadline driven environment delivering fast and accurate output
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects at any one time
  • Ability to write end user targeted materials
