Manage switchboard manufacturing projects for MGE Whangarei. Must have AutoCAD experience. Must have electrical experience. Preferable to have switchboard experience.

Our switchboards are manufactured in Northland and Auckland by a world-class team of engineers and electrical professionals. We produce high-quality outcomes for clients of all sizes in the industrial and commercial markets, with operations spanning New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific. 

We have several key projects and require an experienced project manager to lead our growing team.

Ideally the successful applicant will be a proven and experienced project manager with extensive electrical experience and would either be a registered electrician with contracts management experience or an Electrical Engineer with a background in managing projects. You must be a professional, self-motivated, and confident individual with the ability to build and maintain a strong rapport with key stakeholders. 

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and attributes:

  • Holder of a Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • Have a working knowledge of AS/NZS 3439, and other standards relevant to switchboard manufacture
  • A fundamental understanding of project management discipline and methods
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent client service skill, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
