About the role
We have a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced Quality Assurance and Environment Technician to be based at our Triboard Mill in Kaitaia. You will report to the Compliance and Environment Supervisor and will be part of our national team of Compliance and QA&E professionals. You will support the Compliance & Environment Supervisor to undertake a variety of Quality and Environmental related activities that assist the achievement of JNL compliance requirements.
This is a fulltime role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Remuneration:
$45-60K per annum
Key responsibilities:
- Contributing to maintaining the quality process and systems, manufacturing processes, environment, and environmental processes and systems certifications and compliance
- Preparing for and carrying out sample testing to ensure compliance with relevant standards, or organise for external agencies to do so
- Providing site quality and environmental non-compliance reports to relevant parties and monitor resolution and closeout
Our ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Focus on continuous improvement
- The ability to work as part of a team or independently
- Ability to think innovatively and analytically
- Ability to communicate effectively and convey information to a range of audiences
