The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Test Analyst to join our team of testers looking after the software and hardware in our award-winning security products, ensuring they meet market requirements. You’ll be part of an agile team writing thorough test cases, analysing and documenting anomalies to assist in prioritisation and fixes, and performing security and performance testing as required.

As part of #TeamGallagher you will

  • Contribute to the development of our next-generation security products by participating in requirements reviews
  • Analyse project documentation to design, write and automate test cases.
  • Analyse and document anomalies.
  • Work appropriately within the software development methodology being used.
  • Work within the current best practices and processes for testing.
  • Provide accurate time estimates for testing tasks.
  • Assist with the release of software into production.

To be considered for this role, you will have

  • 2-5 years’ experience as a tester, working alongside development teams using agile methodologies (particularly Scrum and Kanban).
  • A relevant tertiary qualification with one (or more) of the following: Microsoft Certified Professional; Comptia A+; ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Test Analyst Certification.
  • Coding skills, particularly in writing and executing automated scripts and using automated tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to write clear and concise documents describing process or problems.
