Due to this continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and energetic technical salesperson to come and join our highly motivated Technical Business Development Team. This role will be located in the South-West UK region reporting to the Sales Manager UK South.

As our Technical Business Development Manager, you will work with your wider team to develop and implement agreed business development growth strategies and plans that reinforce, support, and drive the profitable development of the Security business in the UK.

Using your technical knowledge, you will be responsible for selling our suite of security products and growing our customer base by creating demand for our solutions with a variety of end-user customers. You will work with your team to manage and grow our existing Channel Partner network. Your strong organisational skills and customer insights from having worked in the Security / Technology industry, coupled with a high level of personal motivation will ensure your success in this position.

Please note this is a fully remote sales role so you will require a suitable home office set up and it will involve some travel.

Key skills and experience required

  • 5+ years’ business development or sales experience particularly in a B2B international /export IT / business systems / security systems environment
  • Tertiary Qualification in business and/or a commercial engineering or marketing related field
  • Experience in the Commercial Security and Access Control industry
  • Project management experience
  • Channel Partner management experience.
  • Security Consultant engagement experience
  • Business to business marketing experience
  • Market development – geographic or vertical
  • Major Customer relationship management and account management skills
  • Development of appropriately pitched communications
  • Development of business growth strategies
