Purposeof Position: A Retail Specialist isresponsible for driving in-store merchandising, training and support. Thisposition must have an unwavering enthusiasm with the ability to communicateeffectively and share product knowledge with Gallagher’s customer base. TheRetail Specialist will be a technical expert in their product portfolio and usetheir expertise to further enhance our customer-centric approach.
Travel: 50% -75%, including some weekends
Key Position Responsibilities
- Manage weekly call cycles
- Take ownership for upholding the principles of the Gallagher brand, helping to deliver a world-class customer experience
- Educate customers on products
- Set up new store sets and organize products in set
- Handle warranty
- Monitor stock levels, on hand supply and out of stocks
- Point Of Purchase, current catalogs, selling materials
- Light training for store employees
- Open Houses/New Store Openings
- Keeping retailers informed of new products
- Competitor Analysis
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Experiencerequired:
- High School diploma orGED with some college experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years merchandizingor retail experience
- Solid experienceapproaching customers to recommend products
- Drive brand awarenesswith ability to learn and share product based technical expertise
Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesRequired:
- Excellent communicationskills and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Highly organized and confident in operating autonomously
- Ability to build and develop strong relationships within designated stores
- Flexible to do additional hours when required
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
