Purpose of Position

Toprovide direct technical and sales support to Gallagher certified channelpartners as a member of the Sales Team, including system design, installationand advice as well as support for 3rd party solutions integrated with theGallagher security solution. Deliver expertiseto support and drive profitable growth of Gallagher’s commercial, federalgovernment Access Control and Perimeter Solutions to achieve budget. Be thelead representative of product and solution capacityfor the region.

Must be able speak and writein English and French.

Travel: Up to 50% on any given month


Key AccountManagement

  • To provide technical sales support to the team to ensure that sales opportunities are maximized, understood, engineered correctly and questions are answered.
  • To provide pro-active technical support, installation guidance, trouble-shooting techniques and overall assistance to Gallagher channel partners and Gallagher product end users for Monitored Pulse Fence and Access Control.
  • To promote, in conjunction with the Gallagher sales team the use of the High Spec systems to high profile customers and Corporate institutions.
  • Coordinate in consultation with the Gallagher sales team the provision and implementation of appropriate technical support services that are consistent with Gallagher product strategy and regional initiatives.
  • Provide input for preparation of the business plans and budget process.
  • Manage and co-ordinate the timely and effective resolution of call reports
  • Maintain and update CRM, monitor Power BI customer status and manage target account selling tools for projects with all key account transactions.
  • Identify any weakness in the delivery of technical support and training services that are adversely impacting customer satisfaction and implement corrective action.
  • Product Management liaison.
  • Technical Support provision in both English and French.
  • Translation of Gallagher documentation, communications and software in English and French.

Strategy & Planning

  • Actively contribute to the development and delivery of the 10-years strategic plan.
  • Contribute to building Gallagher brand awareness.
  • Contribute to quarterly regional reporting team progress against agreed regional technical OKR’s, reports impediments to the Regional BDM.
  • Assist in developing plans to position new technologies in the Eastern region now and in the future.
  • Guide team on their technical strategy for their region.
  • Proactively participate in the delivery of the sales, service and ongoing support approach and methodology.

Relationship Management

  • Build long lasting and productive partnerships with our customers, channel partners, third party providers and external stakeholders.
  • Build enduring partnerships to support superior service delivery.
  • Establish and develop relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Identify at risk clients and facilitate corrective action.
  • Broker best fit client/dealer relationships in line with changing business/ system needs.
  • Stay across key technical client contacts and understand their business in order to anticipate needs.
  • Maintain regular communication with other regional CP’s and major accounts across the Americas (as necessary) to ensure consistency in message delivery.
  • Includingany other duties not specified that may be required to complete the role, andas requested by the Reporting Manager.


  • Must be fullybilingual in both English and French, with the ability to communicateeffectively both verbally and in writing

· 5+years’business/sales/technical experience with business systems/perimeter/securitysystems environment

· 2+ years salesexperience preferred

· Extensive experienceand expertisein security system application, operation, implementation, integration

· Security Accesscontrol/ Perimeter Security solutions

· Technical Engineeringwith enterprise systems experience

· Development of businessgrowth strategies with Management

· The ability toregularly liftupto 25 pounds, occasionally lift/and or move up to 50 pounds. Specific visionabilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depthperception and the ability to focus. May be regularlyaskedto stand, walk, talk, and hear. Frequent sitting, use of hands to finger,handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.May be requiredto climb and balance on occasion.   • 5 years+ experienceand expertisein security system application, operation, implementationand integration.

· Previousexperience as technical engineering security manager/ consultant/ GallagherChannel Partner/ end- user making use of contemporary Access Control andPerimeter solutions to solve security-related business problems.

· Targeted AccountSelling experience.

· Vertical market expertisewith the Gallagher solution: (Airports, Mining, Education, Prisoner/CorrectionFacility and Utilities (Electrical and Mechanical Engineering).
